CARROLLTON, Texas - AmStar Systems Inc., a financial self-service manufacturer, is rolling out 18 of its AmStar ecashier financial services kiosks in Colorado at the end of July. The ecashier is a multifunction ATM that provides check-cashing services.
"The AmStar ecashier financial services kiosks are being placed by an investment group into grocery stores and convenience stores in Colorado," said Carole H. Haynes, vice president of sales and marketing for AmStar, in a news release. "These stores understand the huge business opportunity in becoming the bank for the unbanked. They're very much aware of the millions of unbanked U.S. households and they want to be the first in the next "gold rush" to pan for their share of the gold."
