Japanese get thrill of slot machine at ATM

AFP: Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank, which is based near Tokyo, on Aug. 8 will introduce ATMs that double as slot machines. The concept driver: Customers can play the slots while they wait for their transactions to process at the ATM. A user who hits three straight 7s using the "stop" button on the ATM screen will get 105 yen (U.S. 90 cents), which pays the customary fee for using the ATM outside regular hours.
