Euronet launches money-transfer, bill-payment services with acquisition of TelecommUSA

LEAWOOD, Kan. - Euronet Worldwide Inc., an electronic payments provider, completed its acquisition of TelecommUSA, a consumer financial services company based in North Carolina, according to a news release. TUSA offers consumer money-transfer services, primarily between consumers in the United States and Latin America, as well as bill-payment services within the U.S.

The company will now operate under the name Euronet Payments and Remittance Inc., and will be part of Euronet's Prepaid Processing segment.
