OMAHA, Neb. - ACI Worldwide announced in an Aug. 9 news release that its contract with SunTrust Banks Inc. to provide BASE24 transaction-processing software has been renewed for five years. SunTrust is one of the largest commercial banking institutions in the United States with more than $169 billion in assets.

SunTrust will continue to leverage ACI's BASE24-atm and BASE24-pos software to route and authorize consumer payment transactions from more than 2,800 ATMs.
