HOUSTON - Cardtronics LP announced in an Aug. 10 news release that it has finalized a deal with Chase to brand 246 Cardtronics ATMs in Duane Reade stores in New York City, Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey. Chase customers in the New York area will have surcharge-free access to the machines.
"This is an exciting opportunity for Cardtronics as we seek to broaden our relationships with America's premier banks," said Keith Myers, Cardtronics executive vice president of financial services. "Our ATM program offers financial institutions a viable alternative method to expand their distribution channel."
This is the second major branding agreement that Chase has completed with Cardtronics; the first included ATMs in 215 Exxon Mobil stores in Texas.
