DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - Mosaic Software, an S1 Corp. company and global transaction processing solutions provider, announced in an Aug. 16 news release that New York Community Bank has installed S1 Electronic Payment Management, powered by S1 Postilion (formerly Mosaic's Postilion software), to provide in-house ATM driving and transaction switching and routing for its ATM network. During the second phase of implementation, debit-card issuing and management and stand-in authorization services will be handled by Postilion's PostCard system.
The Postilion system will handle all aspects of ATM driving, including ATM network management, related reporting and business management functions for NYCB - the third-largest thrift depository in Metro New York, the region's largest supermarket banking franchise and the fourth-largest thrift in the nation. Postilion provides NYCB with a scalable and open architecture that permits easy implementation of new products to be delivered through its ATMs. The solution also is Triple DES and EMV compliant and provides advanced-function ATM driving capability.
Mosaic's solution runs in a Microsoft Windows environment and includes interfaces to NYCB's core banking application and the Fiserv/CNS network.
"At NYCB, the ability to consistently provide the highest quality service to our customers is extremely important to our entire organization," said Robert Brown, NYCB's chief information officer. "We selected the Postilion system to give us greater control of our ATM network. In addition, by bringing ATM processing in-house, we will realize operational efficiencies and significant cost savings."
