HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. - Paragon Application Systems, which provides ATM and EFT simulation, configuration and testing tools, announced the release of its quality assurance and regression testing tool, FASTest for SPDH, in an Aug. 22 news release.
The tool is based on ACI Worldwide's Standard POS Device Handler specification.
Paragon's FASTest is available to simulate more than 60 financial message formats, including virtually any switch and ISO 8583, ATM, MASM, IFX and POS formats.
According to Paragon, POS transactions, particularly payments using debit cards, have shown double-digit growth in the past three years. Regulations and transaction volume demand comprehensive POS transaction testing and documentation of all test results.
"Paragon's customers see the benefits of using simulation to catch errors prior to going into production and to reduce time to market," said Kathryn Cameron, Paragon's director of sales. "The ability to easily test complex transactions like reversals, returns, debit with cash back makes FASTest extremely useful."
