SAN JOSE, Calif. - Infonox, a turnkey delivery-channel solutions provider has introduced IDNox, an identity verification and validation solution, according to a news release.
IDNox verifies critical customer information, including address, Social Security number, driver's license and OFAC validation at the ATM or other customer touchpoint. Patriot-Act compliant, the solution actively validates customer data as it changes over time.
It has been used for enrolling new customers in unbanked and check cashing applications, human resource-related employee identification checks and other applications involving credit and loan issuance.
The solution is platform-independent and uses application program interfaces that enable users to integrate the solution through XML or HTML. It also communicates over TCP/IP or as a stand-alone application.
"IDNox was created to improve data collection and protect our clients from fraud-related losses," said Safwan Shah, Infonox's chief executive and president. "Instead of using several avenues to validate a customer, we took a platform approach and created a comprehensive solution that allows a greater amount of flexibility in implementation."
IDNox uses plug-in algorithms that are configured to ask intelligent questions about a customer's personal and/or credit information and/or credit information. After running a comprehensive validation, IDNox provides a behavioral score about the credit risk the customer represents.
IDNox continuously validates customer data as it is gathered. The solution executes several sequences that not only validate but also cross-reference the collected information with business rules, fraud rules and filters.
