COPENHAGEN, Denmark - Sagem Denmark has received final approval from Visa Corp. for its PIN pad and card-reader modules, according to a news release.

The PIN pad and card reader are part of Sagem Denmark's Unattended Payment Solution (UPS) - a solution that is designed for flexible integration into any unattended or rugged environment that requires secure card-payment transactions.

The solution also may be used for EMV upgrades on existing equipment.

Sagem Denmark has already received Visa PED approval for its other electronic payment products.
