HENDERSON, Nev. - BUIC Systems A.G. has completed the development of the new Cheq-IT XPress range of Check 21 Systems from Cheq Information Technology Inc.
"For the past few months, our engineering team has been challenged to develop a range of systems that have the best price (to) performance ratio in the industry," said Stefano Trincard, head of BUIC's image division, in a news release. "I am delighted to announce that they have met this challenge by using the fastest image cameras available for this class of system without impacting the simplicity of our transports for which we are well known around the world."
John V. Ashley, CIT's chief executive, said, "We recognized that the initial implementations of Check 21 Distributed Check Image Processing systems using first-generation technology are not providing the total solution that was originally anticipated by the financial industry. By combining the new XPress systems with our proprietary quality control image exception item process, we now have the complete solution."
