The Edge Daily: Malaysian Electronic Payment System Sdn Bhd (MEPS) expects ATM fund transfers between Malaysian banks and banks in Singapore and Thailand to be operational by the first quarter of 2006.

MEPS also is talking to two other ATM networks in Indonesia, PT Rintis and PT Alto, to expand cross-border fund transfers between ATM users in Malaysia and Indonesia.
