LONG BEACH, Miss. - Despite a two-week interruption in business earlier this year because of Hurricane Katrina, Triton Systems announced in a news release that it expects to continue growth in North American and international markets in 2006.
Triton is expected to expand its corporate Long Beach facilities and open an additional U.S. office early next year in Memphis, president Brian Kett said.
The Memphis location will serve as an expansion of Triton's main operating base, similar to Triton's other offices in San Diego, Calgary, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and Australia.
"Triton's home is Long Beach," Kett said. "We intend on being a significant player in re-building the Gulf Coast. In addition to growing our business in Long Beach, we are continuing to grow our business globally. Our office in Memphis will house some key activities for us, similar to the San Diego office with our Prism software development. Our facilities in Long Beach will continue to grow to meet our expanding business needs and serve as our main center of excellence. "
Just two weeks after Hurricane Katrina, Triton was one of the first employers in the Gulf Coast region to reopen. Kett credited Triton's staff and base of dedicated business partners for the company's quick reopening and continued success.
