AUSTIN, Texas -- Wincor Nixdorf and Global Cash Access announced in a news release the deployment of 150 Wincor ProCash 1500xe ATMs in casinos throughout the United States and United Kingdom.
The ProCash 1500xe ATMs will be used for GCA's Casino Cash Plus 3-in-1 ATM system - a system that allows casino customers to obtain money through standard ATM withdrawals, credit card cash advances and point-of-sale debit cash advances. In addition, GCA is expected to deploy Wincor's ProView monitoring software.
Rollout is expected to be completed by the end of 2005.
The ProCash 1500xe is a compact indoor ATM that is designed for branch-lobby or retail installations. The ProCash 1500xe includes up to four cassettes and a standard 12.1-inch LCD screen.
The ProView management tool monitors the entire network and can repair certain problems remotely.
