OMAHA, Neb. - ACI Worldwide, an international provider of enterprise payment solutions, and Wincor Nixdorf, an ATM manufacturer and provider of IT solutions to retailers and retail banking, are expected to intensify their existing partnership and expand beyond the current working relationship into new strategic areas of ATM collaboration. According to a news release, those areas are expected to include the rollout of an IFX standardization, operation of ATM networks in a managed services environment and deliverance of a service-oriented architecture for ATMs in a Net-centric environment.
The joint goal is to provide solutions that are more flexible, cost effective and easier to integrate into existing environments in order to provide banking customers more value-added services at the ATM.
Wincor Nixdorf has established an e-services platform to operate complete ATM networks, including all surrounding business and logistical processes. ACI's BASE24-es has been selected as the foundation.
