RALEIGH, N.C. - Transoft International Inc. released version 6.0 of its OptiCash suite of products, which will further automate adaptations, according to a news release.

Many financial institutions forecast the need for cash across their ATM and branch networks. Alternatively, OptiCash mathematically balances all cash cost components against each other every day. All cost optimization parameters are considered in one balancing act.

For traditional cash managers only attempting cash holding-reductions, a majority of potential savings don't exist, because traditional cash managers have not adopted new technology.

Transoft demonstrated the new software last month at BAI's Retail Delivery Conference & Expo in Orlando, Fla.
