PHOENIX - Checkgateway, a provider of electronic-payment services, announced in a news release that its Automated Clearing House and credit-card processing is now available to businesses and retailers at physical locations. Merchants in "street side" venues can now accept checks and process card payments by Web, virtual terminal, point-of-sale, phone or mobile terminal.
Businesses can establish automated ACH and credit-card payments for customers on a recurring schedule and alter recurring bill-payment plans to suit customers' cash flow needs.
Merchants that sign up for ACH and credit-card processing with Checkgateway also may take advantage of Checkgateway's FraudChek, which provides merchants with fraud protection, and ChekNow, which allows merchants to convert a paper check to an e-check at the POS.
