DENVER - TeleCheck Services Inc., the world's leading check-acceptance company and subsidiary of First Data Corp., announced in a news release that AutoZone stores nationwide are now using the TeleCheck's electronic-check acceptance and guarantee services.

The guarantee service protects merchants if checks approved by Telecheck are returned.

AutoZone is using the ECA service to settle check-transactions electronically and the guarantee service to reduce its risk of fraud. ECA converts paper checks into electronic items and settles funds using the same system used to automatically deposit paychecks.
