ORLANDO, Fla. - Nexus Software Inc., which provides cross-channel client middleware for financial-services delivery, announced at BAI's Retail Delivery Conference & Expo last month that it has earned EMV Level 2 approval for its INvolve EMV Option, also called IEMVTEC 1.0.

The INvolve EMV Option extends INvolve API with an interface that seamlessly supports application-level as well as device-level EMV kernel operations. Such an approach allows solution providers and financial institutions the ability to choose a variety of chip and PIN architectures within one flexible product
"We will continue to expand the number of specific configurations supported by the INvolve EMV Option to meet our customers Chip and PIN requirements," said Robert Usner, Nexus' director of marketing, product management and quality assurance.
The INvolve family of middleware can be used in single- and multi-channel solution architectures to connect solutions to more than 300 banking-specific devices used with branch-teller workstations, kiosks and ATMs.
