CHESIRE, England - Felix Group Plc. is expected to launch its Max Box ATM brand Jan. 24-26 in London at the ATEI trade show. The new Max Box kiosks will combine a range of consumer services, including ATM functionality, digital jukebox, mobile top-up, music and mobile-content download, digital-photo processing and Felix' Everyone's A Winner SP vending function.
e-Pay Ltd. will provide service at the at the Max Box for mobile phone top-ups across all major networks. Other mobile content including MP3 downloadable music and games, wallpapers and ring tones will be provided by DX3 Technologies Ltd. And Broadchart Ltd. is providing the kiosk with a digital.
Max Box also will have the ability to validate and print vouchers distributed via i-movo's SMS marketing application. As part of this initial suite of digital services, Felix has developed the Max Box as a Wi-Fi hotspot, where users can access the Web for free.
"These agreements will significantly enhance our consumer offering and further distinguish what the Max Box has to offer over standard fee-charging ATMs in the field," said Felix chief executive Andy Egan. "Whilst wireless Internet access is nothing new, the ability to provide this to our customers for free is a radical step forward and a piece of development work we felt would further enhance what we offer."
