EFMA: Barclays in the United Kingdom is working to do away with jargon as a way to better reach customers. Examples: The ATM will be renamed "hole in the wall," which is how customers see it, and cash deposits and withdrawals will become simply known as "money in" and "money out." Barclays wants to improve its image and appear as a friendly bank.
