DAYTON, Ohio - First Citizens Bank, a Raleigh, N.C.-based principal subsidiary of First Citizens BancShares Inc., has named NCR Corp. its exclusive provider of ATM upgrades, replacements and services.
According to a news release, the five-year strategic agreement also includes NCR's Aptra Edge multivendor software, which will be used as the platform of choice across First Citizens' network. And First Citizens also is extending its NCR ImageMark services contract to a full five years. The ImageMark suite provides remittance and check-image capture and archiving services.
The bank is rolling out ATM upgrades and replacements in the Raleigh area with NCR's Personas M series ATMs.
"We see this strategic partnership with NCR as an important key to delivering the very best technology and services that First Citizens customers have come to expect," said Joe Cooper, executive vice president of technology and operations for First Citizens Bank. "We evaluated several platforms and found that Aptra's robust architecture best fits what we need to accomplish today, while also empowering us for future expansion and ease of management of our ATM channel."
