LAS VEGAS - Cheq Information Technology Inc. is furthering engineering advances to its Cheq-IT 388 XPress System.
"These upgrades are in response to feedback we had from certain key clients who had agreed to assist us in creating the best price/performance check truncation scanner in the world," said CIT chief executive John V. Ashley. "Our clients identified one key issue, which halted application programs when the unit's center cover power safety interlock was opened. The other was a recommendation to create a check auto-feeder that could also be used in either a drop-feed mode or in a continuous mode. Both of these upgrades have been successfully implemented."
According to a news release, the upgrades further enhance the XPress System released last year with throughputs that more than double similarly priced devices.
