BUIC releases imaging system at CeBit

CHIASSO, Switzerland - BUIC Systems A.G. introduced the BUIC Model 150 Multi-Document Check Imaging System earlier this month at CeBit. According to a news release, the system is enhanced to accommodate Check 21 processing requirements, and will be marketed by Cheq-Information Technology Inc. as part of its Cheq-IT XPress range of systems.

CIT chief executive John V. Ashley said the new system creates users.

Not only can users "speed up their check deposits under the Check 21 regulations, but (the system) also provides for the image capture of associated pages, coupons, identity cards, passports, etc., in a single pass," he said. "This truly is a remarkable engineering breakthrough, and we look forward to its arrival in the U.S.A. in May."
