HOUSTON - Cardtronics Inc. and BB&T Corp. have closed a deal that will enable BB&T to brand 64 ATMs in Walgreens locations in the Atlanta area. Installations will be completed within the month. Use of BB&T-branded ATMs in Walgreens stores will be free to BB&T customers.

"We are pleased to extend our distribution network in the Atlanta Metro area with even greater access to BB&T via ATMs in high-traffic retail outlets," said Lars Anderson, Georgia state president for BB&T Corporation. "Our partnership with Cardtronics and Walgreens will enable us to further enhance our ongoing commitment to world class client service quality by providing clients with convenient, easy access to BB&T accounts."
