DAYTON, Ohio - NCR Corp. announced last week that Joseph Kniceley, 48, who served as the vice president of the Americas region for NCR's Payment and Imaging Solutions group, died April 26.

Kniceley had served NCR and its customers for 27 years in the financial-solutions industry. Kniceley helped lead the call for passage of the Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act and testified before the House of Representatives in 2004.

Kniceley leaves his wife, Tamara, and the couple's four children.
