First Bank & Trust signs with Fifth Third for EFT services

CINICINNATI - First Bank & Trust Co. signed an eight-year contract with Fifth Third Bank Processing Solutions for electronic funds transfer services, including gateway and debit card processing, according to a news release. First Bank & Trust operates 17 branches in southwest Virginia and northeast Tennessee, and has $670 million in assets.

Fifth Third Bank Processing Solutions processes more than 12 billion ATM and POS transactions per year for more than 1,350 financial institutions and more than 135,000 retail locations worldwide.

Fifth Third Bank Processing Solutions is a subsidiary of Fifth Third Bancorp, which operates 17 affiliates with 1,092 full-service banking centers.
