HOUSTON - Following a recent deal to brand nearly 900 ATMs in CVS/pharmacy locations across the northeastern United States (Read also, Sovereign Bancorp signs branding deal with Cardtronics), Sovereign Bank and Cardtronics Inc. announced in a news release that the bank is expanding its agreement to include 484 more ATMs. The additional terminals will be branded in CVS locations in the New York tri-state area. The initial 900 installations are expected to be complete this summer.
"The additional tri-state locations were too good to pass up," said Sovereign's senior vice president of retail marketing, Laurie Cochran. "The additional 484 locations truly afford us the opportunity to provide our customers with greater convenience."
