FastLane, Business Payment Systems sign merchant debit deal

BOULDER, Colo. - Payment network FastLane and New York-based Business Payment Systems Inc. signed a deal to provide BPS merchants access to FastLane Debit services, which includes loyalty offerings, at the point of sale. FastLane's Smart Host technology allows merchants to access FastLane's virtual payment network and verify identity with consumers' driver's licenses.

"The additional sales tools and subsequent financial rewards that the FastLane products offer to our MLS (merchant level sales) agents added to our enthusiasm," BPS president Steven Feldshuh said. "We believe there will be additional MLS agents across the nation who will want to work with us because we've added FastLane to our product offerings."
