NEW YORK - The latest version of A2iA's check reader is now available to licensees and integrators of check-recognition software.
According to a news release, A2iA's CheckReader 3.6 provides improved recognition of dates and phone numbers, consistent data format, and higher read-rates on personal and business checks, money orders, payment coupons and other banking documents. It also features the latest set of A2iA's image analysis tools, which measure check quality using Check 21-based industry standards.
"Over the past several years, A2iA CheckReader has been providing an expansive set of innovative tools to capture additional information from check images - information that helps U.S. financial institutions alleviate the risks associated with check processing," said Jean-Louis Fages, A2iA's president and chief executive.
