DALLAS - First Data company Remitco has chosen eGistics Inc. to provide Web-based capabilities for image retrieval and same-day payments dispositioning and decisioning.
According to a news release, Remitco developed its client-decisioning tool, Postive Postsm, in conjunction with eGistics.
Utilizing Postive Postsm technology, Remitco's clients can provide same-day instructions on how to process previously unprocessable transactions without interrupting the standard remittance-processing flow.
"For major financial institutions and corporate billers, the ability to view images of transactions and exception items on-demand is a critical component of payment processing," said Scott Dickey, Remitco's president. "As a result of our work with eGistics, our clients benefit from innovative Web technology, expert service and support. The outcome is significant improvements in availability and information float, while enabling us to more effectively and efficiently manage our clients' business processes."
