DAYTON, Ohio - NCR Corp.'s Teradata division has introduced an enterprise risk-management solution that integrates the data-management platform, which includes a combination of hardware, software and professional consulting services.
Components of the solution include Teradata Warehouse 8.1, a suite of hardware, software and professional consulting services.
"Teradata is focused on enabling financial services executives to transform compliance issues from a management migraine into a strategic opportunity," said Jim Donovan, Teradata's vice president of global industry solutions for financial services.
Chinese bank signs deal with Teradata
Beijing-based China Everbright Bank signed a deal with Teradata for the building of an enterprise-data warehouse.
The warehouse will provide business-decision support, enabling CEB to leverage its information resources and improve business analysis and management, according to a news release. Teradata will help CEB integrate data from its core-business, personal-loan, international-settlement, credit-risk-management, and accounting-management systems.
