PORTLAND, Ore. - Chockstone Inc. announced in a news release that it can now support MasterCard's contactless-payment solution, PayPass.

Chockstone's point-of-sale, credit-card, and stored-value programs will support PayPass at participating merchants, particularly quick-service restaurants and convenience stores, beginning in 3Q '06. PayPass allows consumers to make purchases by tapping their cards or other devices like cell phones and key fobs at POS terminals.

Chockstone provides merchants with stored-value solutions designed to increase customer loyalty and drive profitability.
