BROOKFIELD, Wis. - Fiserv Inc. has acquired The Jerome Group LLC, which provides digital-print and full-service direct marketing to industries such as financial services, healthcare, telecommunications services and retail. According to a news release, St. Louis-based Jerome Group is expected become part of the Personix division of Fiserv Output Solutions. (Jerome's revenue in 2005 was $44 million.)
Jerome Group executive vice president Ken Brown will lead the new Fiserv division. The firm's more than 300 employees also are expected to join Fiserv.
"The Jerome Group is an important addition to the growth strategy of Fiserv's Output Solutions division," said Jeff Yabuki, Fiserv's president and chief executive. "Jerome's unique ability to mass produce personalized marketing and membership materials will enhance Fiserv's existing client relationships."
Personix's goal is to help clients maximize corporate communications value by focusing on card personalization and high-volume transactional output, said Jorge Diaz, president Output Solutions. "This acquisition will enable Personix customers to build greater loyalty and drive new revenues with state-of-the-art direct marketing capabilities."
