PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J. - The Smart Card Alliance is accepting nominations for its annual "Outstanding Smart Card Achievement" awards, which recognize individuals and organizations for significantly impacting and influencing the North American smart-card market. Award categories include: Outstanding Issuing Organization, Outstanding Supplier Organization and Outstanding (Individual) Leadership.

The awards will be presented at the 2006 Fall Annual Conference in San Diego.

Nomination submissions are due Aug. 18. Details and forms can be found on the Smart Card Alliance's Web site or by contacting the alliance.
