China Post signs deal with NCR's Teradata

BEIJING - Teradata, a division of NCR Corp., has signed an agreement with China Post Express Mail Service Bureau to provide a track-and-trace delivery system.

The first phase of the new system will test-run this month, with the nationwide pilot operation and systematic training to be completed from October to December.

The new system, which incorporates Teradata's active data warehouse, is expected to help make China Post compete with the world's leading express delivery companies as well as strengthen China Post's brand image.
