SEATTLE - Pemco Technologies is deploying four Stratus ftServer 5700 servers for ATM and PIN debit processing.

According to a news release, two of the servers are replacing early-generation ftServer 5200 systems. The Stratus systems connect to several Pemco ATM/debit networks and process PIN-debit transactions for financial institutions nationwide.

The Stratus ftServer 5700 system was unveiled in January and is touted by Pemco as being the industry's first fault-tolerant server to use Dual-Core Intel Xeon processor technology, which supports Microsoft's Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition operating system.
