(India) Business Standard: ATM transactions are on the rise in India. According to a Banknet India survey, 64 percent of respondents said they are comfortable depositing cash and checks at the ATM. About 95 percent of the 300 respondents said they preferred banking at the ATM rather than in a branch. More than two-thirds of respondents said they used an ATM more than once in 15 days.
