CYPRESS, Calif. - Payment and identification solutions provider ID Tech has launched a new reader that supports magnetic-stripe, smart and contactless cards.

The Spectrum TriBrid reader is a manually operated insert reader.

Communications with the host use an RS232 communication interface and the Spectrum III Turbo TLP224 protocol, which doubles the communication speed and matches the communication speed of other protocols.
