PURCHASE, N.Y. - MasterCard Worldwide is launching an ATM location-based search and directory service in the United States for cardholders with mobile phones.

By calling 1-877-FIND-ATM, cardholders can request the location of the nearest MasterCard ATM, which will be sent via text message to the cardholder's cell phone, according to a news release.

The new service will work with all major mobile carriers and will be provided free to MasterCard cardholders.
