First Data enhances service suite and tools for small businesses

DENVER - First Data Corp. has launched an enhanced version of its services and tools for small and mid-sized businesses.

Services and tools include a point-of-sale terminal, high-speed Internet-payment processing, identification and verification services, and Web site building tools

"These rollouts further demonstrate our long-term commitment to small and mid-sized merchants whose customers demand a high level of convenience, choice, flexibility and security when it comes to paying for goods and services," said Kim Fitzsimmons, president of First Data's Independent Sales Services division.
