WINCHESTER, England - Cashbox Plc., an independent ATM deployer in the United Kingdom, has appointed John Maples, 63, as a non-executive on its board of directors.
 
Maples served as chairman of Bank Machine Ltd. from 2003 until it was acquired by Cardtronics LP in 2005.
 
"The Cashbox model is unique in the rapidly growing U.K. ATM market, and I am delighted to be joining the company at such an exciting stage of its development," Maples said.
