OMAHA, Neb. - First Data Corp.'s First Data Debit Services division has signed an agreement with Bellevue, Wash.-based Interactive Financial Services Group Inc. to provide a school and charity rewards program.
The school and charity rewards feature is expected to be available to First Data Debit Services processing clients in the second quarter of 2007, according to a news release. First Data also will make the feature available to credit-card-issuing clients.
"Studies have shown that rewards programs stimulate usage and also increase brand awareness and customer loyalty, all important factors in today's competitive environment," said Todd Strubbe, president of First Data Debit Services. "By adding different and unique features to their programs, our financial-institution clients can customize their rewards program to best suit their customer bases."
