ATLANTA - CheckFree Corp. and SunTrust Banks Inc. have signed a multiyear contract extension for CheckFree Web.

According to a news release, Atlanta-based SunTrust will continue to offer electronic billing and payment services to its retail and small business clients through CheckFree Web.

CheckFree also is epxected to collaborate with SunTrust to help educate consumers and small business clients about the benefits of electronic billing and payment services.
