ONTARIO, Calif. - Co-Op Financial Services, d.b.a. Co-Op Network, established a single-day processing record Dec. 23 with 5,045,225 transactions.

The previous daily-volume milestone was 4.5 million transactions on Dec. 24, 2005.

"Our staff and our industry put a great deal of effort into year-end planning," said Co-Op chief executive Stan Hollen. "Volumes tend to peak with significant compression into very short-time windows. I'm gratified that our planning paid off with record volume and flawless performance."
