DUBLIN, Ireland - Multichannel-banking software provider CR2 Ltd. on Jan. 2 announced the launch of its ATM management software, Sparrow 8.
 
Sparrow 8, an upgraded version of the Sparrow 74.05, is EMV compliant and has the ability to process more than 450,000 transactions per day. It has been implemented by banks in more than 40 countries, including one of the largest banks in Iran.
 
"The release of Sparrow 8 represents our continued commitment to supporting existing Sparrow users and marks an evolutionary path forward for these customers," said Martin Dolan, CR2's chief executive.
