TORONTO - Canada-based transaction processor TNS Smart Network Inc. has renewed its annual compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

According to a news release, TNS, in conjunction with its PCI audit, renewed its compliance in Canada and the United States under Visa's Cardholder Information Security Program and MasterCard's Site Data Protection Program.

"TNS' ongoing PCI compliance under Level 1 requirements just reinforces our commitment to ensuring the safety of all cardholder transactions at ATMs connecting through TNS Smart Network," said Mischa Weisz, president and chief executive of the TNS Group.
