OMAHA, Neb. - Creative Benefits Inc., provider of FSA benefits and administrative services, has completed its integration with First Data Healthcare Services, part of First Data Corp., and UMB Healthcare Services, a division of UMB Financial Corp.
Creative Benefits annually pays more than $95 million in claims. It provides eligibility, COBRA, HRA, transit/parking and FSA administration and also serves as a resource for information and updates on regulations and laws.
According to a news release, UMB will serve as the sponsor bank, supporting debit-card access and HSA custodial services.
"When comparing processing solutions, First Data excelled with their focus on the cardholder experience and the data they are able to provide for cardholder service," said Jody Dietel, chief executive of Creative Benefits. "First Data's work with over 4.9 million merchants has allowed them to take a leadership role in bringing more real-time merchant solutions to market."
The long-term agreement is effective immediately. First Data and UMB have already begun processing services, including issuing cards, authorizing transactions and verifying account balances, for Creative Benefits.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
