Citibank launches mobile-banking service

CNNMoney: Citibank on April 2 launched Citi Mobile, a service that allows consumers to access their accounts and make transactions from their cell phones. Two other major banks, Wachovia and Bank of America, have unveiled similar versions of the technology in the past few months. With the new Citi service, customers also can receive text-message alerts and information about locating branches or ATMs.
