Reuters: Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said April 11 he was "encouraged" by recent discussions with banks regarding ATM fees. Flaherty has pressed big banks in Canada to reduce the fees they charge customers who foreign ATMs. He has even asked that more machines be made available in specific areas.
