allAfrica.com: Nigerian independent ATM deployer Consortium, which operates the QuickCash ATM network, has received EMV (Europay, MasterCard, Visa) certification. The company says it's the first independent ATM operator in the country to implement the chip-based payment platform. The company expects to accept Visa chip cards on any of its QuickCash ATMs on Visa's network. Implementation will begin on 61 of the network NCR Corp. machines across Lagos, Abuja, Port-Harcourt, Benin and Enugu.
